Are you a Half-Life fanatic? Interested in the Steam platform and all of it's games and looking to help our team out with news, reviews or maybe development? Then keep on reading....
As our projects are growing, our servers getting bigger and more and more games are being released on the Steam platform, we need more volunteers to help us out in every corner of the SteamFriends projects.
We are looking for people that have experience in writing news content, creating (p)reviews of (un)released games and related stuff aswell as experienced developers to help expanding our site(s) and services. So, to sum everything up, here is the list of people we need:
- Newsposters (Gaming related news on the Steam platform)
You are able to at least post a newspiece every single day and your English writing skills are very good.
- Reviewers (reviews and reviews of Steam games)
At least once a week we want to see a review of a Steam released or unreleased (yet to come) game. At least with 4 pages of text and pictures is necessary and your writing skills should be above average.
- Developers (PHP, Site related, Server related, IRC)
Developers work on specific projects like site stuff, Plugins for our gaming servers or for the community or instead IRC related tools.
- Graphics artists (Logo's, webdesign)
The graphics people we are looking for know what Photoshop is, can work with quality material and know how to built professional, quality logo's en websites.
General Requirements:
18+ years old
Regarding reviews and news has good English and writing skills
Knows how to communicate (our main communication goes via IRC)
Even though this is community based we still try to give something back to you. For example if you can write killer reviews about a certain steam game we are definitely all ears and we would then be able to get the game for you if you haven't bought it yet.
For our newsposters, developers and others we try to give something back that comes in through donations. This could be in the form of a game or financial support.
