A playable demo of Left 4 Dead will be coming to both the Xbox 360 and PC just after Halloween.
Talking to Shacknews, Doug Lombardi from Steam said: "We're going to announce a date before Halloween, and the demo will come out in early November."
The demo will feature the first two missions from the 'Survivor' campaign based around the Hospital map and will fully support 4 player action (although we're gonna have to wait until the full release to have a go at being a zombie).
Lombardi also explained that the Xbox 360 version is fully ready to go, while the PC version is pretty much finished, with just a few extra touches needed.
You can pre-order your copy of Left 4 Dead through Steam right now, where up until release, there is a 10% discount on all orders.
