You can now play as the Infected in the recently released Left 4 Dead demo, thanks to a workaround.

Earlier today we told you about a crack to enable multiplayer splitscreen in the demo and now one of those clever people over at the Steam forums has found a way to play as one of the zombie horde.

As Scuzball explains, it's a simple case of entering some commands into the console. So now you can try your hand at being the Boomer, Smoker, Hunter or even the deadly Tank.

The Left 4 Dead demo was released on the 6th November to a hungry fan base and has been a big hit.
