The Final Battleground team has updated the system to a new build of the Final, which includes a whole host of additional features in that their ever-growing community will enjoy. As mentioned in an earlier news posting, they are introducing a new "supporter" status, but delaying this until they get some business things sorted out.

The cool thing about Valve is that they care about their community. Above and beyond the commitment shown by other publishers, which see their communities as chiefly cash cows for testing bugs, Valve's executives are all intimately involved in the people who play their games.

A mix of Half Life 2 and EVE, an actual plot and acting, all put together for a 40 minute 'pilot episode' format film. Two years of hard work culminated in this, John Rourke can be very proud of this masterpiece. It's a big file so there is a trailer as well if you want a teaser first.

The nr.1 3d benchmarking tool for pc enthusiasts has just got an update that brings it to version 1.0.1. Futuremark has made changes in the product editions to better serve their customers.
Off-line score is now available in the Advanced edition, and ad banners have been removed. Error messages have been improved, and various bugs have been fixed.

Take-Two has announced a deal with Universal Studios to bring hit shooter BioShock to the big screen. The film will be directed by Gore Verbinski, whose previous credits include the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy and The Ring. John Logan, who wrote Gladiator, The Aviator and Sweeney Todd, is in talks to produce the screenplay.
