An update has been released for the steam client, and will be downloaded automatically when the client is restarted. The features such as the ability block all communications from another user that were being tested in the recent steam client beta have now been implemented fully into steam with this update. Valve putting top 5 mods on Steam

It seems that Valve is doing their best to support the top played HL2 based mods by putting them as a free download on Steam very soon. The top Mod owners will receive an email from Valve very soon that will explain more about this. Read More ť

Valve has been working hard on a brand new Steampowered Store that makes browsing easier and adds some new features to it aswell. One of the main new things is that you can immediatelly browse by game genre, check for free stuff and you'll get a better overview of the most important things. Read More ť
